Henry,
Wanted
to reach out and let you know what's going on. As previously discussed, we
have received a check from Equip-bid for the auction and afterwards we found
out that the shelving customer was disputing his charge through his credit card
company and a charge back was going to be issued. In these situations the
credit card company sides with their customer regardless of what events have
transpired. The customer has been banned from the auction site and will no
longer be able to bid, but unfortunately this leaves us in a difficult place
where we don't get paid for the item and litigation expenses wouldn't justify
pursuing him. Obviously this isn't in either of our best interests, but that's
where we are nonetheless. We will be sending out a check this week for the
adjusted amount and hope you understand.
